Caribou Coffee Company Restaurant Review: Caribou Coffee, with its knotty pine interior, is a cozy place to sip a coffee, read a book or set up the laptop (yes, there’s free WiFi). The coffee is generally lighter than at other local favorite Dunn Brothers, but that doesn’t mean a couple shots of pure espresso and a chocolate caramel truffle muffin won’t get your morning motor running just as fast. Specialty drinks like the Caramel High Rise and the Turtle Mocha always satisfy, and during the holidays we can't resist the eggnog-driven Fa La Latte. On hot and humid summer days, we go for an iced chai or the creamy espresso cooler. For those seeking a fresh and healthful treat, an array of smoothies (try the passion fruit-green tea) tempt. |
