Only in the DC area could one find a small eatery that sells both Bolivian and Afghani foods from the same menu. If that leaves you a bit dazed, no matter. The Afghani food is good---the chapli kebab is just hot enough to cause a stir---and the portions are generous. The restaurant tries to appeal to a broad audience, so for those who appreciate lamb curry, and would also like a portion or two of ceviche, a salteña (a turnover with a meat or veggie filling) and a pique macho (seasoned meat served over french fries), this place is just the ticket. It’s no-frills eating, for sure.
