THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Cask Room Restaurant Review:
The Cask Room is a perfect spot for meeting friends after work or a first date (or second or third). Low lighting and well-spaced tables contrive a romantic atmosphere, refined and quiet but not stuffy. Simple fare --- panini and crêpes both savory and sweet --- pair well with the wine choices, which are adventurous. Ever hear of Bobal? It's a traditional old variety from eastern Spain, and it's becoming increasingly popular and available in Atlanta. Try the one from Altolandón; the winemaker is a woman. If your best friend prefers brews, there are a few to be had, including local Ode to Mercy from Wild Heaven in Avondale Estates.
