Chalin's Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Chalin’s downtown location is cut in the mold of traditional Chinese-American eateries, with safe (that is, not too exotic) and familiar dishes. These can include such standards as crispy sesame chicken, lamb with spring onions, and orange beef. Try the Szechuan-style dumplings to start, and follow up with the seafood hot-and-sour soup. You will also find a selection of vegetarian "meat" dishes, such as vegetarian kung pao chicken. Check out the chef's specials, too. For dessert, there’s ice cream, cheesecake, fried pineapple or lychee fruit.
