The Chase Fish & Oyster Restaurant Review

: It’s evident that The Chase Fish & Oyster believes in quality seafood, prepared with a deft hand. The raw bar, which features a daily selection of oysters, clams, lobster and more, allows the products to sing at their simplest form. Dishes are lightly seasoned and well balanced. Even one of the punchiest items, octopus with lamb merguez and harissa, still allows the octopus to shine. Rainbow trout is earthy and delicate, with a combination of wilted beet greens, herb purée and Meyer lemon vinaigrette. With the menu organized by raw options, hot and cold appetizers and mains, guests might choose to order multiple plates to share or go for the full three courses. Located in the historic Dineen Building, the restaurant is situated below its sibling, The Chase. It's a slightly more casual, less pricey version of the two upscale eateries. No less beautiful, the dining room boasts a nautical theme, all white and blue with sails hanging from the ceiling, giving it the feel of a posh seaside resort.
