THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Chef Karim's Moroccan Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Chef Karim is a larger-than-life character who happily upholds the tenets of Moroccan hospitality in his oasis-like restaurant. Guests are able to choose their entrée---think tagine to chunky kebabs of many meat persuasions---yet all meals also include a long parade of Moroccan courses. This is a meal to linger over. Guests are treated to a traditional lentil harira soup; soft sesame bread; a sampling of salads, including baba ghanouj; b'stilla; and for dessert, theatrically-poured mint tea, a fruit bowl and cookies. The best part: the colorful belly dancers working the room. The worst part: having to join the belly dancers if you don't have rhythm.
