THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cinch Restaurant Review:

As you enter Cinch you will recognize an interior imagined by designer du jour Dodd Mitchell. A bar, a series of multi-level and multi-style rooms, and an upstairs lounge are elements of the recipe for this hip place on Wilshire West. (Perhaps no need to drive to busy Hollywood.) Once you've set up camp in the burl wood room next to the stone wall, or maybe in the main dining room, be prepared for a gastronomically inspired journey. Quality and creativity are equal in both the savory and sweet departments. Perhaps a monkfish and shiitake mushroom soup, or a tataki of Australian Wagyu beef to start. Follow with the wok-seared halibut on snow peas, green beans, orange segments and walnuts with crispy soba noodles; or roasted chicken breast with shrimp-stuffed squash blossom and tomato, fennel and saffron confit. You may choose from a small array of sushi, like the beautiful Cinch tempura roll. We remind you of the desserts from pastry chef Aaron Lindgren, the Chocolate Purist, or the sweeter chocolate pudding or the brioche bread pudding with banana-caramel ice cream. Besides the full bar you can enjoy a growing wine list with nice offerings like a Mark West Pinot Noir from the Edna Valley or a yummy Wolf Blass Shiraz by the glass.
