The area might be up-and-coming, but Clark's recalls the old days of Farringdon, when the market prospered and this was a distinctly working-class kind of place. With all the newer restaurants opening to feed the trendies, Clark's remains an old-fashioned spot, serving crisp-pastried meat pies and mash, and, for those newcomers who wish to be genuinely adventurous, eels and mash.
