With the American River and Lake Natoma a stone’s throw away, the highlight is clearly the view, so come early or reserve a seat on the outdoor patio. The scenery overshadows the menu, but it’s still worth a trek to Folsom for the ambitious and moderately priced seafood, pasta and steaks. Try the prosciutto-wrapped scallops, chicken saltimbocca, rack of lamb or filet mignon.
