Club 19 Restaurant Review

: This lunch venue perched above the first tee of Monarch Beach Golf Links at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is known for its view for a good reason. Your eyes will feast upon the fountain in the course's pond, the surrounding emerald-green fairways, white sand traps, and the shining blue Pacific Ocean just beyond. The kitchen creates classic American fare. Lunch tends to satisfy the post-golf crowd, with favorites like soup, salads, sandwiches and a small entrée menu. Try the Maine lobster BLT with tarragon aïoli or the Philly cheese steak sandwich with shaved prime rib and sautéed mushrooms. Club 19 has a full bar, specialty cocktails and a nice wine list gleaned from the resort’s wine collection.
