THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED College Farm Restaurant Review:
College Farm, a small farm in the middle of urban north London, is an eccentric place to find a delightful old dairy. Built in 1864, it became a teahouse in 1925 and restored a few years ago by the energetic Su Russell. There are blue-and-white Minton tiles on the walls of this octagonal building with windows looking out onto the farm and the fields, solid chairs and tables covered with lace tablecloths, proper teapots and old-fashioned china. If you take a child, they provide a tray of toys for them to play with. Scones are homemade, fresh clotted cream comes with the proper hard crust, and servers refill your teapot as often as you like. On the first Sunday of the month the farm has an open day, so it can get pretty busy. (Around £6 per person.)
