Comodo Restaurant Review:

A romantic ambience prevails at this sweet spot on a quiet Greenwich Village side street. High tables and communal seating mean everyone gets cozy. A smartly tailored wine list leaves something to be desired as far as whites are concerned, but the variety of reds are fine for the warm spice flavors present in the best dishes. Sliders on homemade Brazilian cheese bread may prompt double orders; the same can be said for the mezcal-laced octopus, which comes with cider-braised kale. Entrées are straightforward; the grilled sirloin served with a simple salad and rice allow the meat to shine. For dessert, the unique pastry with dulce de leche mousse is the most interesting way to cap off your dinner.
