THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cooker Bar & Grille Restaurant Review:

This place sports a very large menu filled with regional dishes. Its décor is essentially a modern version of an early-1900s saloon, with brick walls, brick-like floor, high wood-backed booths and new old-fashioned light fixtures hanging over tables. The best appetizer is also very filling: the Savannah spinach and artichoke dip served with tortilla chips and salsa. For a hearty entrée, try the Hawaiian chicken, grilled with teriyaki sauce and served with grilled pineapple rings or the charbroiled salmon. In the mood for a sandwich? How about the roasted portobello mushroom, zucchini, red peppers and sautéed onions with mozzarella on a focaccia bun? The dessert our family shares is the Cooker ice cream pie: chocolate and coffee ice cream mixed with Snickers candy bar chunks, topped with mocha hot fudge, caramel sauce, whipped cream and toasted almonds. Service is enthusiastic, but not obnoxious.
