Copperwood Tavern Restaurant Review:

Gracing the One Loudoun dining scene, this spacious restaurant offers a diverse spread of American fare that’s based totally on farm-fresh goods. At lunch, the limited starters menu includes deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes. At dinner, however, the kitchen adds on venison meatballs and ancho-braised short ribs, deciding factors as to when to stop by. At either time, you can also begin with a classic French onion soup, rich and creamy. As for entrées, at the earlier meal head to the typical sandwiches --- the Tavern burger and the slow-roasted pork belly sandwich are tops --- and for the latter consider braised rabbit and venison strip with huckleberry sauce. Caramel cheesecake and the chocolate truffle cake are winners for dessert. Brunch temptations include sandwiches and duck hash.
