THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Coquina's Bar & Grille Restaurant Review:
Convenient for business as well as a place for meeting visitors, this hotel restaurant seems to have it all. The grill and deli items are creative, such as Ybor Muffaletta-a classic Tampa-style sandwich with ham, salami, sliced pork, provolone cheese and black and green olive tapenade on Cuban bread. There's also a pastrami Reuben as well as Louisiana chicken breast and grouper sandwich. Lunch buffets are popular. For dinner, the menu has good appetizers (Florida crabcakes; blackened chicken quesadillas). Although there are usually only about five entrées, typically choices such as filet mignon or New York Strip, red snapper, almond-crusted chicken or Grouper Gasparilla. (It's named for the annual Gasparilla pirate celebration held in Tampa. In this case, the entrée offers grouper crusted in cornmeal and topped with a Cajun crawfish cream sauce.)
