This outpost of the famous Memphis 'cue joint has a devoted following of avid dry rib connoisseurs, but they would be well advised to give some attention to the wet version as well. This may be the only spot in Atlanta where Memphis-style 'cue is to be found. A meaty, chunky Brunswick stew makes a good side item, and this mac 'n' cheeses is the real "macCoy" so to speak, with large patches of cheese meltingly intermingled with the macaroni. If the other side of the Mississippi River has your style of 'cue, you'll find that here, too, with chopped beef brisket topped with a fairly thick, spicy (but not hot) sauce. Chicken, fish and numerous other Southern specials make this a well-rounded restaurant.
