The Cottage Eatery is a first-time venture by husband-and-wife team Ed Carew and Jennifer Rebman. Carew previously cooked in New York at Gramercy Tavern (where he met Jennifer), Craft (as sous chef) and Fiamma (as chef de cuisine), and locally at Florio Café & Bar. The food highlights Carew's experience in regional Italian and French cuisine, and draws on fresh ingredients from local farmers markets and small specialty purveyors. In honor of the economy, there’s a low-cost pizza night each week that's building a loyal following of locals.
