THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Craft Dallas Restaurant Review:
Like its siblings, Craft features Tom Colicchio’s take on simple, regional dishes made with the best ingredients. First courses, mains, sides and desserts are listed in columns with further subsections dedicated to cooking styles: roasted, sautéed, braised, etc. Try the scallops with sweet corn and leek sauce. The baby spinach salad is a highlight, with candied pecans, bits of bacon, and a slightly creamy balsamic vinaigrette. Sides are fresh and flavorful, such as fingerling potatoes with caramelized onions and bacon and broccolini with glazed fancy carrots. Our favorite dish is braised short ribs, awash in its own juices. A selection of artisanal cheeses, homemade ice creams, tarts and fresh fruits fill the dessert menu. All in all, it's a delightful experience, especially coupled with the rare commodity of a waitstaff that's professional, friendly and well versed on the menu.
