THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Curry Club Restaurant Review:
On upper Wisconsin, the young and restless head towards this chic, diminutive destination with its offbeat menu of contemporary Indian flavors. These may delight the hearts of those not yearning for the traditional, but others may sigh with utter disappointment. Three starters and five entrées limit choices, especially when a dish called tandoori salmon seems to have real Western overtones. We found the chili shrimp appetizer too tame to repeat, and the dessert menu sounds far too Western for comfort. But the main dish of apricot lamb merits a thumbs-up, sweet and gently spicy. With its intimate setting and mod décor this is a great place for mood and atmosphere, but if you love real Indian eats look elsewhere.
