Good Southern Indian food is the specialty of this no-frills restaurant near Jackson's Diner (see review following). That translates into such specialties as deep-fried lentil doughnuts (iddly), wafer-thin crêpes (dosai) wrapped around a number of fillings, and rice pancakes topped with tomatoes, peas, mixed vegetables or a hot peppers or onions (uthappam). All come with creamy lentils and cilantro-mint-accented yogurt sauce.
