This is New York’s biggest and best Turkish restaurant. Meals may begin with meze (assorted Mediterranean appetizers) such as grilled octopus salad, a spread made from cod roe whipped with olive oil and okra cooked with tomatoes and lemon juice. For entrées, fresh fish, often grilled whole, and baked lamb are strong points.
