THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Dock at Lansdowne Restaurant Review:
One of Leesburg’s few seafood restaurants, The Dock gets a warm welcome from locals who crowd there not only for its comfort-food brunches with brioche french toast and crab sliders but also for its casual, fish-centric menu that includes seven fish-based appetizers, and plenty of fish-focused entrées midday and in the evening. The kitchen even offers its own take on the BLT by adding either fish or tuna filets to the mix. Main course salads available daytime and in the evening also feature seafood. But meat-eaters can relax: appetizers, entrées and big salads and sandwiches come with beef, pork and chicken options. Note that the desserts are made in-house, and the real winner on this menu is the chocolate mousse cake, divinely rich and chocolatey.
