Take you’re favorite neighborhood bistro, give it a makeover for an added touch of intimacy, and then clone it three times. What you end up with is Duckworth Lane, a trio of not-quite-identical restaurants that specialize in feeling as much as feeding. User-friendly is the best way to describe this mini-chain. At each location there are plenty of wines by the glass, never too long a wait for a table, and something for everyone to eat, kids included. From spinach raviolis and Tuscan bread salad to duck with apricot and ginger, the menu borrows liberally from other cuisines. The flavor quotient isn’t exactly through the roof, but you won’t refuse a doggy bag at meal’s end.
