Although Eggspectation’s menu is limited, the food is passable and actually good for large groups such as college kids out with their friends or children with their parents. It’s all about breakfast here with classics such as eggs Benedict and signature dishes such as Eggspectation, a three-egg omelet with mushrooms, onions, green and red peppers, bacon, sausage and ham served with grilled potatoes. They even have eccentric designs like a Western breakfast burger or a real layered pancake dubbed the “construction pancake.” For lunch, there's a good selection of non-egg-centric entrées, such as a chicken breast coated with Parmesan, sautéed and then served on a bed of spinach and tomatoes. Hopefully, you can tolerate bad puns, as they abound on the menu.
