THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED El Raigon Restaurant Review:
Cowhides and ranching paraphernalia abound inside the wood beam and brick dining room. But this isn't your usual steakhouse. Argentina is the inspiration for El Raigon so those aren't pictures of Texas ranchers on the wall. They are South American gauchos. A variety of beef cuts are cooked up parrilla-style meaning they are grilled over a mix of wood and charcoal. Bright green house-made chimichurri sauce, loaded with parsley, onion, and garlic, pairs up nicely with the beef. A small list of starters includes rich empanadas, garlic prawns and an herbed baked cheese plate. Salads, roasted squashes and wilted greens make up the simple sides list. Don't miss the Argentinean Malbec wine, which pairs nicely with a plate of chorizo.
