THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE Euphoria Restaurant Review:
This second-floor restaurant in the historic Buggs Temple, a former church that once offered gospel music, is making music of its own. Situated at the end of the downtown canal, Euphoria affords a terrific view of downtown Indianapolis to enjoy whether you’re sipping wine from a first-rate selection or digging into the contemporary dishes. From the short menu, start with puffs of phyllo encasing goat cheese, fennel, pear and chestnuts. Then continue with skate wing atop angel hair pasta. For a vegetarian option, try crispy eggplant with creamy, curried lentils, beets and wild mushrooms---it’s a dish meat lovers will want you to share. Four-, five- and six-course tasting menus also are available with wine selections from Euphoria’s ever-growing cellar. If there’s no time for a meal, stop in for an imaginative dessert and a drink while ogling the skyline.
