Tucked away along a busy street in Silver Spring, this charming neighborhood eatery offers lusty margaritas and a very solid Tex-Mex menu. While you won't find anything exotic, you will find take-offs on the burrito, enchilada and taco theme, plus grilled shrimp, grilled quail, fajitas and some mighty delicious chiles rellenos. Among breakfast-brunch selections, choose the overstuffed breakfast burrito or the masitas de puerco (cubes of marinated and grilled pork), the silken refried beans and that chile relleno, a triumph of crispy batter over a creamy, melted-cheese filling. Not only is the food first-rate, the prices are rock bottom.
