The Decatur outpost of this local chain expanded by enclosing the patio in glass, and offers a comfortable, casual urban-chic environment that's perfect for an inexpensive date night. Warm, ocher walls are hung with framed Italian food and wine posters and there are candlelit tables. Fresh pastas are served al dente, and for each dish, guests choose a house-made sauce. Ravioli di cipolla (onion) with mascarpone comes with a reduced-balsamic drizzle that nicely cuts against its richness. We also like the ravioli stuffed with braised short rib meat, and prefer to pair it with the Checca Fiorentina (chopped fresh tomato with mozzarella, basil, garlic and olive oil). Gluten-free and whole-wheat pastas are available. House-made desserts include tiramisu and torta della nonna, a sort of lemon custard crostata. Good coffee makes a fine dessert mate. The wine list is useful and decent, but quite limited.
