THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Fish Cellar Restaurant Review:
Walk down into this Mt. Kisco eatery and you’ll be surrounded by all that is seaworthy including nautical-themed knick-knacks along the walls, not to mention, the restaurant’s seafood and fish-centered menu. The main draw at The Fish Cellar revolves around its fish and seafood which is fresh-caught daily. Start with the delicately fried calamari and nicely steamed mussels. Or wade into the inventive shrimp-laced fettuccine, drenched with a creamy sauce that's sprinkled with prosciutto and pistachios. Among the entrées, you can’t go wrong by diving into the Jonah crab cakes---thick chunks of lightly-browned crustacean served with spicy potato wedges and horseradish mayonnaise. For an Asian-inspired option, try the rare seared tuna. The pine nut crust complements the clean flavor of the tuna, while the sautéed vegetables and noodles nicely round out the dish.
