Five 01 City Grill Restaurant Review:

Founded by prolific local restaurateurs Mike Atkinson and Cory Beisel more than 25 years ago, this sophisticated yet friendly neighborhood hot-spot hasn’t skipped a beat under new ownership. Because the clientele has matured along with the business, the stage in the bar was replaced by a cozy fireplace and the mounted moose heads and fish swapped out for abstract paintings. But the crowd-pleasing menu remains essentially the same. Wood-oven pizzas and tantalizing taco platters draw diners, as do fried mac ‘n’ cheese, sea scallops atop Tuscan vegetables, a 14-ounce cast iron seared rib-eye, and handmade gourmet burgers. The 501 Bananas Foster for dessert has guests clamoring for more, and the wine program rocks.
