Flagstaff House Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Situated in the mountains of Boulder City Park, Flagstaff House features 360-degree views of the surrounding area, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows that allow guests seated in the dining room and on the patio to take advantage of the mesmerizing vistas, which are worth the price of admission. Executive chef and owner Mark Monette has helmed the kitchen since 1985, focusing on ambitious American fare that leans French with an Asian twist. Expect to find entrées like the Colorado lamb three ways: rack, loin and shank with white truffle-infused heirloom polenta, ratatouille vegetables, goat cheese and lamb jus. Round out a meal with a selection from the dessert line-up, and spend some time studying the wine list, which is easily one of the most comprehensive wine rosters in the state. Cocktails and beers are also available.
