![]() : Fleming’s proclaims that “food and wine become partners every night of the week” in its stylish 260-seat steakhouse. Supporting the wine end of that promise is a massive wine cellar that emphasizes boutique vineyards from around the world as well as the big names, plus a reserve list, an extensive selection of dessert wines and 100 wines available by the glass. The grilled Prime steaks are hand-cut daily. For starters, we like the roasted butternut squash ravioli with Parmesan, ricotta and mascarpone cheeses and fennel cream sauce; and the lobster tempura, served with red jalapeño and soy ginger sauces for dipping. Top meat choices include eight- and 12-ounce filet mignons, 16-ounce rib-eyes and New York strips, and a 32-ounce porterhouse for two presented tableside. Chilean sea bass is sautéed and braised in a light, Southwest-style broth; and the Scottish salmon filet is slow roasted with a barbecue glaze and comes with a mushroom salad. Among sides are the house special of scalloped potato with cream, jalapeño and cheddar. For dessert, indulge in the rich caramel of the walnut turtle pie or simple fresh berries with Chantilly cream. |
