Not a coincidence that this garden-decorated restaurant is located around the bend from the hotel’s Adventuredome, The Garden Grill is truly kid-friendly. On their special menu are corn dogs, chicken fingers and cheese quesadillas, capped by Oreo cookie ice cream sandwiches and banana splits. “Comfort Food” for the whole family includes chicken potpie and chili con carne. “Everyone’s Favorites” includes an array of steaks and a steak and prawn brochette; a favorite from the barbecue is a combo platter for two---St. Louis-style ribs, beef bones, chicken, brisket and pulled pork. “From the Sea” is teriyaki-glazed grilled salmon filet. A breast of lemon chicken appeases those “Eating Less.” “A Trip to Italy” offers chicken piccata and Marsala; “A Taste of the Orient” features mango shrimp with napa cabbage, asparagus, baby bok choy and pineapple in a spicy sweet sauce; “South of the Border” serves drunken shrimp and a carne asada burrito. Crêpes of Cajeta---chocolate tortillas filled with sautéed bananas, butterscotch sauce and pecan vanilla bean white and dark chocolate ice cream---are among exotic sweet finales.
