Some say this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the suburbs of Chicago, for there's an understanding here of what Italian food is all about. To that end, you'll find none of that huge portion, smoke-and-mirrors foolishness. The food is the message and it is signed, sealed and delivered. The kitchen never misses with the risotto. Fish dishes---sea bass with kalamata olives, capers and sun-dried tomatoes, for example---are beautifully crafted. Crostata di mele---apple tart---would be our top dessert choice. Service could be better, but overall this classy ristorante has a lot to offer.
