THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Gibson's Restaurant Review:
Gibson's receives plenty of attention simply due to its location: The century-old Clark-Wurzburg Mansion, a Victorian home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Beautifully stained oak and maple woodwork, marble fireplaces, inviting window seats and turn-of-the-century accoutrements add to Gibson's romantic feel. Although you'll see lots of power diners in the dining room, it will forever rank as a great place to impress a date. The restaurant's versatile menu includes everything from sandwiches and soups to tournedos trois poivres and duckling with locally grown Michigan cherry sauce. Gibson's bar, the Grapevine, offers a large selection of wines from throughout the world.
