THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Gino's Restaurant Review:
Couples dating, families dining after work and pals gathered for a night out fill the tables. The food can be very good or close to the opposite end of the spectrum. Seafood salad is a huge serving of tender seafood bathed in lemon and olive oil, the juices good enough to mop up with a little bread. Green salads are tired and overdressed; even a tasty dressing provides no excuse. Pasta is the entrée of choice here, with things like spaghetti Tarantina, a red sauce with tender mussels. Vegetarians are happy with numerous entrées. On the debit side, trout may be badly overcooked with a lemon-garlic sauce containing almost no lemon and chunks of harsh garlic. Desserts are pretty pedestrian; tiramisu, for example, has decent flavor but a heavy texture. The wine list is moderately priced, but with no great bargains and relatively few fine wines.
