Goldfish Restaurant & Oyster Bar is awash with shades of cool aquatic blue that evoke the deep waters of the Atlantic. The attractive spot, with its 30-foot bar, offers a well-balanced menu of market-fresh fish and shucked-to-order East Coast oysters. Lunch and dinner three-course prix-fixe options available daily give diners added incentive to frequent Goldfish. Starters include everything from steamed mussels with fennel and tomatoes in a ouzo cream sauce to a salad of Romaine, dill, cucumber, feta and French beans tossed in lemon and extra virgin olive oil. Among the entrées, we suggest the stuffed jumbo penne with shrimp, crab, mascarpone and tomatoes in a broccoli rabe pesto, and the hearty and tender grilled pork chop. Service hustles and the short wine list proposes bottles beyond the usual Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.
