: A good meal, top brews and live entertainment all rolled into one makes this upscale brewpub a popular choice with the Tempe college crowd. The mood is more subdued than a typical college pub because the after-work clientele is often young suits meeting for a drink before a night on the town. Chips, dips, juicy burgers and great garlic fries are staples, but the menu offers far more than typical bar fare: steaks, fresh fish, roasted chicken and designer pizzas, for example. Not surprisingly, the craft beer --- German-influenced and made with Weyermann Malt from Bamberg plus authentic Bavarian Hersbrucker hops --- is a primary draw. |
