The Griddle Cafe Restaurant Review

: Unless you're an early bird, prepare for a lengthy wait at The Griddle Cafe. A hip, young crowd---including the occasional famous face---converges to tackle funky breakfast items like Eyes Wide Open (pancakes with a shot of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate chips), Hunger Pangs (an over-sized slice of baked ham and three eggs), and the Muscle Bound Scramble (a protein-packed plate of egg whites, spinach, tomatoes, green onions and turkey maple sausage, chicken breast or turkey breast). If a stack of pancakes that are practically the sizes of hubcaps sounds like too much to handle, you can specially request to receive just one instead of the full order of three. Lunch is equally colorful with a choice of rotating flavors of Chili My Soul gourmet chili, salads and sandwiches. Flop down and converse with like minds at the U-shaped counter, settle into one of the booths, or take a seat on the patio on busy Sunset Boulevard. Free parking is available in a lot behind the restaurant.
