Hamburger Heaven Restaurant Review:
Established in 1945, this burger palace with diner-style comfort food moved to larger digs in early 2013 with sidewalk café seating along the West Palm Beach downtown waterfront. The interior resembles a modern 50’s diner with Archie comic book posters. For breakfast, try cinnamon-sugar dusted donut bites, blueberry pancakes or the Benedict burger. Dinners include crispy fried chicken, meatloaf with gravy, and a 10-ounce pork rib-eye with applesauce. Daily specials range from Yankee pot roast on Monday to prime rib on Saturday. Build your own burger from a classic patty (each addition is $1) or indulge in the Bronx with sautéed peppers, onions and Swiss; Windy City with bacon and cheddar; or Beverly Hills with avocado and ranch dressing. There’s also a turkey burger, veggie and grain burger and barbecue tofu burger. Sip a frosty milkshake for old times’ sake.
