The Ice House Cafe Restaurant Review:
It's the 'burbs answer to a classy family place that on the weekends turns into a jazz and bar destination in the later night hours. Lunches are casual and popular and hamburgers are the signature sandwich. Dinners are definitely dressier meals, featuring such entrées as a grilled pork loin with honey-rosemary glaze, hickory-smoked rack of lamb in wine sauce with sun-dried cranberries and an interesting grilled Norwegian salmon with a Thai chili-peanut sauce. The menu is interesting, eclectic, and shot through with Asian influences. Desserts stack up well to big-city creations. We enjoy the chocolate marble cheesecake with crème anglaise, perfect with an after-dinner drink.
