Ichimi Restaurant Review

: Ramen lovers can get their noodle fix at Ichimi in Coral Gables. Helmed by executive chef Constantine De Lucia (formerly of Momi Ramen, Lure Fishbar and Estiatorio Milos), the Japanese restaurant features gyoza, izakaya, sashimi, and of course, ramen. Noodles are made the traditional way, using a machine imported straight from Japan and are served dipping style (hot broths with cold ramen for your dipping pleasure) or cold (meant to be eaten like a salad). Traditional offerings include tonkotsu, while unorthodox creations such as carbonara add a whole new meaning to ramen. Izakaya items include scallion panacakes, crispy pig ear and fried oyster buns. The neighborhood restaurant is aiming to stay affordable by averaging $15 for lunch and $25 for dinner.
