Time and again, when we think of pizza, we think of the pies that emerge from this wood-burning oven. Though the restaurant is tiny, its pizzas have giant flavor and texture---here’s one pizza place that does it right in our books. Maybe it’s their sunny front patio, a casual sit-down place for a quick snack, that makes this seem like such a good destination. The interior is no great shakes, but you’ve come for pizza---and their soups and pastas maybe---so dramatic decor doesn’t really count. You won’t find strange combos here, just straightforward toppings that you can order in predesigned pies, or arrange to suit yourself. Check the specials board, too, to catch up on the daily selections. Maybe it will be pizza plus? Other locations.
