![]() : This theatrically exotic setting features enough palm fronds---real, and painted on the walls---to thatch several tropical huts. The see-and-be-seen dining room features clubby, dark-green banquettes and colorful tropical flowers. For appetizers, we recommend the fish soup sweetened with coconut milk and the fried spring rolls with chicken, vegetables and glass vermicelli paper. Entrées include seared Arctic char with lemon and coriander seed pesto over cumin-spiced cabbage and sliced seared filet mignon served with grilled baby corn, carrots and asparagus in a light peanut sauce. A side order of sticky rice will offset the spicier dishes. Try the exotically flavored sorbets for dessert. |
