The humble hot dog is the star of the show here, and it's quite a show. Spacey décor evokes mid-century TV cartoons like "Flash Gordon" and "The Jetsons." Boar's Head franks provide a quality base for varieties such as the Cosmic Dog, a local favorite loaded with blue cheese slaw and sweet potato mustard, for which the place is famous. Homemade chili is a popular add-on for some of the dogs, and corn dogs on sticks are on the menu --- a throwback to childhood. Extra treats such as crispy fries, spicy root beer and soft-serve ice cream round out offerings that include bratwurst, kielbasa and a tofu sausage called the Vegeroid.
