Located in the heart of the Warehouse District, Jac's offers trendy food for the noshers, the sharers and the famished alike. Small, medium and large plates are featured on its contemporary menu---all of which are prepared by executive chef Pete Schellenbach. Make sure to order the seared sea scallops, as they’re a house specialty. Meanwhile, smoked chicken ravioli with sautéed leeks and sage brown butter is a cool-weather delight. The pan-roasted halibut, bone-in pork loin, venison, veal and beef are among the stars of the large-plate section. The bar is open late and draws a bit calmer crowd than you'll find at West Sixth's other watering holes. The patio is a good place to people-watch.
