Reserve ahead to experience the four-course fondue meal
THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Joya Restaurant Review:
If you feel a craving to get in with the in crowd, Joya is the place to go. Make no mistake; this is not the place to go for LA's finest cuisine, nor does it strive to be. Instead, this chic nightclub, presenting what it calls the American Fondue Experience, offers a pulsing beat and kid glove service to the Beverly Hills elite. The best way to experience Joya is to come early for dinner; be sure to reserve well in advance, competition is stiff for the VIP service at the handful of tables surrounding the dance floor. In addition to a four-course fondue meal (including cheese fondue, a slightly limp and very overdressed salad, choice of meat to dip in boiling stock and a bowl of dreamy, rich chocolate fondue), a dinner reservation will guarantee entrée to a star-packed scene. When the music starts pumping around ten, you'll be sitting pretty while Hollywood's beautiful people wait to be checked from the bouncer's guest list (and these people seem very serious about keeping out the riff raff). Beware, this star-studded experience does not come cheap. There is a $25 per person minimum to hold a table, the basic dinner starts at $35 and the drink prices are what you might expect from a Beverly Hills nightspot.
