You can find a little bit of everything in this ultra-casual spot---with its big friendly bar---that has been producing consistent comfort food for the last 25 years. A hangout for locals and much of the gay community, they know a good thing; drinks flow at modest prices, appetizers range from grilled octopus, hand rolls of shrimp and asparagus, to a simple, yet delectable Caesar salad. Hearty entrées include meatloaf with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes, Cheddar crusted chicken, and super calf’s liver with figs and caramelized onions. An added bonus: with every meal, customers each receive a coupon good for their next entrée (same price or less), but must use it within a limited period of time.
