THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Julia's Bistro Restaurant Review:
Julia’s Bistro is a hot little Latin spot along the Metro rail line in Midtown. Bright red walls, modern chairs and a sleek bar make the shoe box-size space seem hip, but the menu is the real draw. Starters can be light, like the ceviche with a hint of mint, or heavier, perhaps filet mignon taquitos with guacamole chutney. Dinner entrées include the Costillar de Cordero --- a potato-crusted rack of lamb stuffed with garlic in a vanilla Merlot reduction --- and seared rainbow trout warmed with garlic and onions. After dinner, enjoy a glass of Taylor port and sample Julia’s dark chocolate cake.
