: This suburban Kirkwood location of the local coffeehouse chain offers first-rate coffees from around the world, each with a unique roast profile for maximum flavor. The brand has become a staple on grocery shelves and at coffee counters across the metro area. And while it’s a leader in fair-trade, organic and single-origin coffees, plenty of patrons still opt for basic beans in a straightforward dark Italian roast. Morning sees a mix of office workers and families noshing on breakfast burritos, crustless quiche or oatmeal, followed by grilled cheese, a barbecue veggie burger or curried chickpea salad as the day wears on. In warm weather, capacity in the already-large dining area is doubled with outside tables, where customers who aren’t in the mood for coffee enjoy a bottled microbrew or a glass of wine. |
